Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre is located in Wacol, Queensland, 20 kilometres south-west of Brisbane city and is Queensland’s largest correctional centre.
The Centre's primary role is to safely secure male adult remanded prisoners for the period leading up to, and during, their trials. Most days are very busy with several hundred new receptions arriving and prisoners commuting between the Centre and the courts.
About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Rosters Clerk at the Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre. This position will be a 12 month contract with the possibility of extension. The Rosters Clerk is responsible for maintaining the roster system, the preparation of rosters and control of higher duties and leave records relating to the deployment of staff.
